About Harvest

What it's like
living in Harvest.

Harvest is a 1,200-acre master-planned "agrihood" community developed by Hillwood Communities, spanning Argyle and Northlake in Denton County, Texas. Located at the intersection of I-35W and FM 407, it has grown into one of the DFW metroplex's larger master-planned communities.

The community is designed around a farm-to-table lifestyle, with a working community farm, seasonal gardens, a farmers market atmosphere, and amenities that encourage residents to get outside, connect with neighbors, and enjoy a lifestyle that feels grounded and intentional.

Harvest today is a mature, late-stage community. Most of the roughly 4,000 homes planned at full buildout are built, new construction continues in limited pockets, and resale homes are an increasingly important part of what comes to market. The community is not fully built out, and the same range of styles, from townhomes and cottage-style residences to estate lots, remains part of its appeal.

Harvest is a mature, late-stage community, and resale homes make up an increasingly important part of the market here. Limited new-construction pockets remain, so current inventory and availability should always be verified with current data.

The combination of Hillwood's master-planning, two school districts, resort-style amenities, and the agrihood concept makes Harvest an appealing option for many buyers. FAQ

Living in Harvest: your questions, answered.

What's the price range at Harvest?

Homes at Harvest range from the low $400,000s for townhomes and smaller single-family plans to over $1.4 million for custom estate lots. Most single-family homes fall in the $500K to $800K range depending on builder, floor plan, and lot selection.

Which school district serves Harvest?

Harvest is served by both Argyle ISD (ranked #1 in Denton County by Niche in its 2026 Best School Districts rankings; TEA "A" rating for 2025-26) and Northwest ISD (TEA "B" rating for 2025-26). Three on-site elementary schools, Lance Thompson, Argyle West, and Jane Ruestmann, serve the community directly. School attendance boundaries, feeder patterns and ratings can change. Buyers should verify current assignments for the specific property directly with the applicable school district before making a purchase decision.

Are there still new construction lots available?

Yes, though today's new construction is concentrated in limited pockets rather than many undeveloped lots. Availability varies by builder and collection, and resale homes are an increasingly important part of the Harvest market. I can verify which builders have current inventory and which lots are best positioned for your priorities. Nearby amenities, property characteristics, supply, demand, purchase price and broader market conditions may influence future resale performance. No real estate purchase guarantees appreciation or investment results.

How does Harvest compare to Pecan Square?

Both are Hillwood master-planned communities, but they offer different lifestyles. Harvest focuses on the agrihood concept with a working farm and nature-inspired amenities. Pecan Square emphasizes village-center living with a more urban-inspired amenity model. I can help you compare both based on your priorities.

Selling

Selling in Harvest

Selling in Harvest today means positioning a home that competes in a mature community. With most homes built, the resale market plays an increasingly important role, and the limited new construction that remains still shapes buyer expectations and comparable sales. I help sellers understand both sides of that market, price and position strategically, and protect the equity they've built.

  • Strategic, data-driven pricing and positioning so your Harvest home reaches the right buyers.
  • Deep knowledge of the resale market in a mature community, including how remaining new construction affects comparable sales.
  • Clear guidance through the full selling process, from listing to closing.
  • Honest reporting along the way, so you always know where things stand.
