Featured Home FAQ

Questions About Featured New Homes

Is a featured home always finished and move-in ready?

No. A spec or inventory home is built without a particular buyer commissioning it, and it may be unfinished or completed. A "quick move-in" label is a builder label, not proof the home is finished. A home is described as move-in-ready only when its current completion and closing readiness have been confirmed. Check the status shown for each featured property and confirm it with the builder before you plan around a move-in date.

Are the prices shown base prices or the final price?

The two are kept distinct on this page. Specific available homes show the specific property's asking price. Builder floor plans show the advertised floor-plan base price, labeled "from". A builder's advertised base price does not include every lot premium, upgrade, option or financing cost, and no featured price is a personally confirmed offer unless the page says so. Verify the exact price and any incentives with the builder before relying on them.

Can I customize a featured home?

Personalization depends on the builder, the eligible plans, the construction stage and the selection deadlines. A spec or quick move-in home that is complete or near complete typically has its finishes already selected, so customization is limited or unavailable. A home still under construction may allow some changes if the stage permits. Confirm the exact construction stage and what, if anything, remains selectable with the builder before you count on it.
