Move-In-Ready Homes
There is no verified move-in-ready inventory at this time. As of October 19, 2026, no move-in-ready new homes in the Northlake and Denton County communities we track are confirmed currently available, so we are not listing any.
Move-in-ready inventory changes fast: builders complete homes, release spec inventory, and accept offers week to week. This page is updated as homes are verified directly with each builder. If you are ready to move soon, ask Theresa what is available today, because a published list can be out of date by the time you read it.
No verified move-in-ready homes right now
As of October 19, 2026, none of the homes builders have confirmed to us qualify as currently move-in-ready. We would rather publish nothing than list homes we have not verified, because availability claims that cannot be confirmed are exactly what makes this market frustrating for buyers.
How this changes
Builders release quick move-in and spec homes as they near completion. When a home is verified as currently available, it appears here, and it can go under contract quickly. If you are on a short timeline, the fastest path is a conversation, not a webpage: tell Theresa your deadline and she will check builders directly on your behalf.
What move-in-ready typically means in this market
In Northlake and Denton County, a "move-in-ready" or "quick move-in" home is a new home that is completed or nearly completed and available to purchase now, with occupancy possible in weeks rather than the months a ground-up build takes. Builders also call these spec homes or inventory homes. They are usually floor plans and finishes the builder has already selected, so customization is limited or unavailable, and the price is generally fixed.
What it offers
- Move in within weeks instead of waiting out a full build
- Final price and finishes already set by the builder
- A known home to tour, not just plans on paper
What to verify
- Whether the home is still available and not already under contract
- The actual completion and closing timeline, in writing
- Current price, incentives, and whether your lender and financing qualify
One caution: builders use "move-in ready" loosely. Some listings describe homes that still need weeks of finish work or a closing timeline that does not match your move date. Before you count on a date, have someone verify the home's true status with the builder, which is exactly what we do before anything appears on this page.
How to find a move-in-ready home when one appears
-
Ask for current inventory directly. Builders hold the real availability list. Theresa verifies homes with the builder before publishing them here, so what you see on this page is confirmed, not a marketing claim.
-
Move on verified homes quickly. Genuine quick move-in inventory is small and heavily shopped. When a verified home matches your criteria, touring and writing an offer early matters.
-
Bring your financing questions. Confirm your loan type, closing timeline, and any builder lender requirements before you commit to a specific move-in date.

Keep in mind: availability and pricing in new construction change without notice, and homes can go under contract while a list is being read.
