Northlake's Youth Sports Cluster Is Taking Shape:
Redline Athletics and a Badminton Facility
Join the Open StarCenter

Two New Mavericks Lane Projects in the DFW Northlake Business Park, Alongside the Children's Health StarCenter Multisport

Redline Athletics Northlake is in its pre-opening phase at 200 Mavericks Lane, selling founding memberships for youth speed, agility, and strength training, and a separate state filing registers a Northlake Badminton facility at 201 Mavericks Lane. This guide separates what is open, what is pre-opening, and what is filed but not yet confirmed, with sourced addresses, filings, and status notes.

Northlake's youth sports scene is expanding beyond the Children's Health StarCenter Multisport, which opened March 31, 2026 at 13850 Chadwick Parkway. Redline Athletics Northlake is in its pre-opening phase at 200 Mavericks Lane in the DFW Northlake Business Park, selling founding memberships for its speed, agility, and strength training programs, and a separate state filing registers a Northlake Badminton facility at 201 Mavericks Lane. As of this posting, the StarCenter is open, Redline is pre-opening, and the badminton project is filed but not confirmed open.

As a Real Estate Broker who works with buyers, sellers, and relocating households across Denton County, I follow the recreation and youth sports picture closely because it comes up in nearly every family consultation. The three projects below sit within a short drive of each other near the SH 114 and I-35W corridor, which is why I am grouping them here as a building cluster rather than a single facility update. For the household-level view of which communities put you close to this kind of programming, our Youth Sports Relocation Guide for North Texas maps the neighborhoods around these venues.

Quick Answers

Short, direct answers to the questions I am hearing from Northlake-area families, based on the verified details and filings in this article. Statuses change quickly, so confirm current hours, programs, and openings with each facility and with the Town of Northlake.

  • Is Redline Athletics open in Northlake yet?

Not for regular training as of October 17, 2026. The official Redline Athletics Northlake location page is in its pre-opening phase and is selling founding memberships.

  • Where is Redline Athletics Northlake?

In the DFW Northlake Business Park at 200 Mavericks Lane, Units A-E, Northlake, TX 76247, the address recorded in the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing reported by local coverage. The franchise’s own location page renders the same building as 200 Mavericks Dr.; both point to the same address and the same building.

  • What kind of training does Redline Athletics offer?

Youth speed, agility, and strength training for athletes roughly ages 8 to 18, per the franchise's training model. Program details vary by location, so confirm current offerings with the Northlake location.

  • Is a badminton facility really coming to Northlake?

A Northlake Badminton, LLC project is registered with TDLR under TABS2027000166 at 201 Mavericks Lane, Units A-E, filed September 2, 2026. The registration exists; the facility is not confirmed open. The filing's owner of record is DFW Northlake Business Park, LLC.

  • Is the Children's Health StarCenter Multisport Northlake open?

Yes. It opened March 31, 2026 at 13850 Chadwick Parkway, with two NHL-regulation ice sheets and eight basketball courts that convert to 16 volleyball courts.

Is Redline Athletics Open in Northlake Yet?

As of October 17, 2026, Redline Athletics Northlake is in its pre-opening phase: the official Redline Athletics Northlake location page is running a "Secure Your Founding Membership" call to action with a local phone number, (940) 241-4051, rather than regular training hours. News coverage from September 2026 described the location as planned and "heading to" the DFW Northlake Business Park: What Now Dallas reported it as a planned location, and NTX Front Porch listed it among Northlake projects taking shape. That means the facility is best described as pre-opening and enrolling founding members, not yet open for day-to-day training sessions.

Statuses move quickly during a buildout, so this should be treated as a point-in-time check. The definitive sources are the Redline Athletics Northlake page itself and a direct phone call to (940) 241-4051.

Where Exactly Is Redline Athletics Northlake?

The official location address is 200 Mavericks Lane, Units A-E, Northlake, TX 76247, in the DFW Northlake Business Park. That is the address recorded in the TDLR-registered buildout reported by NTX Front Porch and What Now Dallas, and it matches the neighboring Northlake Badminton facility registered at 201 Mavericks Lane. The franchise’s own location page renders the street name as 200 Mavericks Dr., Northlake, TX 76247. Both refer to the same building at the same business park; the Lane/Dr. difference is how the two sources render the street name. If you are driving there, use a map link from either source or call ahead to confirm the entrance.

What Does the Redline TDLR Filing Show?

News coverage referencing the state registration describes Redline's Northlake buildout as approximately 8,000 square feet in the DFW Northlake Business Park. NTX Front Porch's Northlake project roundup cites that figure alongside the park's other tenants. I was not able to independently verify a specific TDLR TABS project number for the Redline buildout during this research, so this article does not assign one. The approximately 8,000-square-foot scale comes from published reporting, not from a filing I can link directly, and it should be treated as a reported estimate.

How Does Redline Athletics Train Young Athletes?

Redline Athletics is a youth sports performance franchise. Its published training model centers on athletes roughly ages 8 to 18, with speed, agility, strength, sport-specific skill work, and private and group training, per the company's franchise options page. The Northlake location is owned by local franchisees making it their first Redline Athletics location, as reported by What Now Dallas, and founding memberships are being offered during the pre-opening period per the location page.

Specific class formats, pricing, and session times are set by the individual location and can differ from one Redline to another, so treat the franchise-wide description as background and confirm the actual offerings with the Northlake franchise directly before enrolling.

The Northlake Badminton Facility: What the State Filing Says

A second youth and court-sports project has been registered in the same business park. The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) TABS registration TABS2027000166 lists Northlake Badminton, LLC as the registrant for a project at 201 Mavericks Lane, Units A-E, Northlake, TX 76247 (Denton County), registered September 2, 2026. The filing describes a new approximately 8,000-square-foot metal building with interior finish-out for lease space at the DFW Northlake Business Park. The filing's estimated completion date is listed as September 2026, a target that has already passed.

It is important to be precise about what this registration is and is not. A TABS registration is a state architectural-barriers review record; it is not a local development approval, a building permit, or confirmation that a badminton club is operating. On the TDLR record, the owner of record for the badminton project is DFW Northlake Business Park, LLC, the property's developer. I found no record showing the Redline Athletics franchise family as the filer of this project, so this article does not repeat the claim that the same owners filed both facilities. Some local coverage groups the two Mavericks Lane projects together as a building sports cluster, which is fair at the property level: NTX Front Porch covers Redline and Northlake Badminton in the same roundup, and they sit at adjacent addresses. But on the ownership question, the state record is what it is: the badminton filing names Northlake Badminton, LLC and DFW Northlake Business Park, LLC, and does not name the Redline franchise family.

To confirm whether the badminton facility is open or still being fitted out, the right checks are the Town of Northlake's economic development and permitting departments, the registrant, and a visit to 201 Mavericks Lane.

Where the StarCenter Fits In: The Piece That Is Already Open

The anchor of this cluster is the Children's Health StarCenter Multisport Northlake, which the Dallas Stars and the Town of Northlake opened on March 31, 2026 at 13850 Chadwick Parkway. The roughly 225,000-square-foot facility includes two NHL-regulation ice sheets and eight basketball courts that convert to 16 volleyball courts, plus pickleball and public skating programming, per the official StarCenter Northlake page. I covered the facility in detail when it opened: Inside the New Children's Health StarCenter Multisport.

The StarCenter is a substantial amenity on its own, but it would be inaccurate to say it alone is driving household movement to Northlake. Relocation decisions are shaped by schools, commute, taxes, community character, and a range of other factors. The StarCenter is best understood as one piece of a growing recreation and lifestyle picture, alongside parks, trails, and local programming in the surrounding towns.

What This Means for Youth Sports Families

When you place the three projects side by side, the picture is a youth sports presence consolidating along Mavericks Lane and Chadwick Parkway: an operating multisport complex with ice and courts, an athletic training center in pre-opening, and a registered badminton facility next door. For a household with athletes in different sports, the practical benefit is proximity: practices, training sessions, and tournaments within a short drive instead of a trip across the metroplex.

Families evaluating communities should also weigh travel patterns, school districts, and how the weekly calendar actually works. Our Youth Sports Relocation Guide for North Texas walks through the communities around these venues, including Argyle, Northlake, Justin, and other southern Denton County towns, with the district and commute considerations that matter on game days.

What This Means for Buyers and Sellers in Northlake

From a real estate perspective, recreation programming is one of the inputs families use when comparing locations, and Northlake now offers a deeper menu of youth sports options than it did a year ago. That is a genuine data point for buyer conversations, but it should not be overstated: I do not predict property-value effects from any individual amenity, and buyers should evaluate a community on its whole picture. For sellers, the honest framing is that verified community amenities can support a marketing story, while pricing still comes from comparable sales and current market competition.

If you are weighing a move to Northlake, Argyle, Justin, or the surrounding communities, I would welcome the chance to walk through how the area's development pipeline, schools, and lifestyle fit your family's next chapter. For the town-level picture, the Northlake city guide and Argyle city guide cover schools, ownership costs and communities by address. For relocating households, our North Texas Relocation Guide is a good starting point, and our New Construction Hub covers the communities building out in this corridor.
